Google street view

Hebrides News has a great exclusive photo of the Google street view car doing the rounds of the Cearns today.

Dear God! I thought we had a few more years before they caught up with us.

Thankfully, they weren't in the Narrows on Saturday night or they might have had more photos similar to this poor, desperate, woman in Madrid. (NSFW?>

Or coming our of the [Lewis pub name deleted for legal reasons] with a female 'acquaintance'.

Or 'suffering from food poisoning'. Warning: truly not suitable for lunch time

Awesome! Cannot wait for this to go live, especially if they do the Uists. There's more than a few things which people will stumble across and go "Erm, is that actually legal?"

This is at least the 2nd time the google street view car has been up. I spotted it in ness & barvas about a month ago, going through all the villages.

love the playmobile bits - particularly Facebook - The Movie - a very good portrayal of the lawyer

Oh, dear Lord. The Stornoway lawyers will be rubbing their hands with glee at all the photos of people in inappropriate places with other peoples' husbands, sheep, Toblerones or congregations.

I predict calls to block StreetView from Hebrides.net; general denouncements from pulpits and monitoring of the Internet in the White House to stop staff spending all day on it.
