If a politician tells you all about their commitment to creating jobs on the island, and has their election address printed off the island, doesn't that stink of hypocrisy?
Not necessarily. Maybe they're making the point that local printers are not competitive due to insular restraints which is something he/she will be striving to address if elected. But I think you're right although I wouldn't dignify it with being hypocritical - just plain stupid.
