Anyone know why they are marking out areas to the back of the Castle?
There's people in day-glow jackets and hard hats, and a digger in situ, along with a specialist team (?) from the mainland, whose name I couldn't quite read from the side of thier pick-up.
Any information gratefully received.

ReplyDeleteApparently Angus Campbell thinks there's oil under the Castle and has authorised Tech Services to commence drilling operations....
ReplyDeletePhase one I think is remedial works to stablise parts of structure. Parts of the back wings are in seriously bad condition... - some wings need to be taken down and built back up again - timber is so rotten. The areas with Iron girders are in bad nick too with the corrosion. 5 years ago the CNES authorised to stop heating the building during winter which has accelerated damage to the building....
