I don't understand. What's wrong with the Hebridean Isles being sent up to Ullapool? That is the boat that Mr Brown and Shetland Council were going to charter for the Stromness - Scrabster service so it's presumably available. If it can get across the Pentland (admittedly only in calmish weather) then it can surely cross the Minch?
