The truths they don't want you to read....

Tedium

I've spoke to SNP supporters and to Labour supporters and both seem to be only slightly positive about their expectations for the election.

Neither side are really positive, although both are 'confident'.

Only one solution to the tedium - a totally unscientific poll.

Unscientific..... what else would one expect?

I can't think of anything either side has said that makes me want to vote for them.

Labour does have more colourful signs though...

Bit of excitement - Labour supporters have been busy fixing campaign posters to traffic signs. I may be wrong but isn't this against the rules? Will the candidate get disqualified before the election? I think we should be told...yawn...

Check out the latest explosion of tedium on Heb-News, Alasdair Allan, former MSP, welcomes SNP committment to allocate £50, yes £50, for a warm homes initiative!! Haud me back! And, no, you couldnae make it up!

It is interesting that some of the posters say "Vote Donald Crichton" and not "Vote Labour"
Personally I would like to see a ballot paper with a box "None of the above"
For the first time in my life I am not inclined to vote at all.....

I know it's sad but I happened to see and watch two election broadcasts last night.

One for the Christian Party, bit of a low budget affair, and as far as I could tell all they were offering was a party that would stand up for Christian beliefs in the face of recent court cases w.r.t. fostering and gay rights. Worthy issues, but unless they can offer some sinsible policies on the economy, health, education etc.. they're doomed!

The other for the BNP. Nothing like a rational approach - Come out of Europe, Shut the borders, Don't get involved in anything at all... and they should have said and keep smiling!!

Well at least we don't have either of these parties candidates to not vote for here.

AV - why not let everyone who voted for the loser have another go to decide the winner - is that the way it works?

Elections - you either love them or hate them. Still only a couple of weeks to go.

10:05, yes I believe it's illegal. But then again, so is the war in Iraq...

None of the above for me!

Suspicious package sent to tweed mill - someone's got a warped sense of humour.

12.45pm If that last dreadful joke was the produce of a couple of glasses of the water of life then I suggest you become immediately teetotal!

SNP been demolishing signs again this year, typical playground antics. I don't usually vote but Donald Crichton seems to be talking sense, what can the SNP bring. They claim to have done the ADS when it was a Labour policy. Yet again it was four years of writing to people but not getting the work done. Sad times.

I own up to having some Bucks Fizz. At least someone noticed. Not many in the current generation knows what a warp is. Don't get me started on itcheachan!

10:33, could you explain exactly what you mean, including locations and how you know it was "SNP" that did it (if in fact anything was done)? Rather than a few drunken louts (of no political persuasion) on the randan?

You don't usually vote... what has inspired you to think of voting this year? Please I am intrigued?

10:03 Paranoid. You must be a dope smoker or very religious

I am hearing (good old rumour mill) that the SNP are not quietly confident, they are very confident. Bordering on been relaxed about it.

7:00, 10:03 here.
I am none of the three (paranoid, dope smoker or religious). Nobody's answered my question though, which leads me to suspect that the claim made is fictional.

10:33,
"I don't usually vote but..." Hohoho. Your comment is quite a politically biased one for someone who allegedly is so disinterested he/she can't even be bothered to put an X in a box.
