With 300+ extra unemployed for Christmas, it is even more distressing to note that there are only 14 vacancies locally advertised through the job centre.
Even assuming that there are a large number NOT being advertised, the sad conclusion is plainly obvious.....

Last one out...switch the lights off. Those not in business might think this is an overstatement - let me assure you that it is not. Over the next very few months the majority of small local businesses will no longer be able to keep the wolf from the door. Expect job losses by the score....and the continued depopulation of the islands.
Bring on the turbines and speed up the end
