I'm flattered.....
I only discovered I was nominated in these awards when I was told that I was a lucky winner!It is very flattering to be the second best hyperlocal blog in Scotland, and I hope that I give everyone the opportunity to discuss the big issues affecting the islands (and allow them to insult and offend public figures).

I have never been a Nat and never will be, that comment is symptomatic of an underlying feeling that everyone should toe a party line- well with the way politicians behave- sod that for a lark.
This was my vague attempt at humour- something that Angus himself is keen on.
