Visitations
Much more important than they let on: at least in symbolic terms.
I am told that the planned vists by Alex Salmond and Gordon Brown are both still highly probable, subject only to volcanos and any other disasters. If the diary managers can juggle the itinery then we are likely to be blessed by both over the coming 10 days.
Don't hold your breath, or expect anything other than photoshoots and a quick whirl through town....

Brown's visit here will be very quick indeed now, perhaps just a flypast. Clearly he's not keen on meeting the "bigots" who ask tricky questions! And as for Alex Salmond, he's probably too skint now to visit the Hebrides after pouring £50K down the pan on a hopeless court case. What a bunch of pillocks!!!
David Cameron was also due to come over early in the week but after letting Sheila drive they ended up in Tarbert Loch Fyne.
Will avaoid Stornoway in case I met any of them. When are the Greens in town? I'll be there like a shot then.
I think Labour would be better to lock Gordon Brown away for the rest of the election, at least then they may have a chance of coming second... Looking forward to a change of government. Bring on Cameron!
If Brown thought she was a bigot, then why did he not have the confidence or courage to stand by that view?
