What a waste of a vote.... I guess that all the sacrifices made in the name of democracy mean nothing to some people.

the only thing that will make me vote is having the option "None of the above"

Why is it that when I attempt to vote on your panel I get 'Page not found' Is it because I is an SNP voter?

Pick the lesser of the 5 evils if you feel that way. Vote for change with a tactical / protest vote??

Apparently 'none of the above' is an option in one constituency down South, some sort of experiment apparently.

10:05 You're assuming that the recipient of the ballot paper hadn't been sent it by mistake because the Comhairle had failed to remove him from the electoral register - even though he'd registered elsewhere several months previously - and he chose not to break the law by voting in several constituencies...

Possible outcome scenario on 7th May. Tory maj in Westminster, no Tory MP's from Scotland? How much of the £163bn PSBR deficit will the Tories target within Scotland to make savings? No honesty from this party - an emergency budget within weeks. Nearly 80% of their necessary cuts not yet identified (Inst Fiscal Studies). Wait for the blood bath.
Poor Labour, in meltdown, and a new leader debate already started. Brown has only four days left. Labour Party now playing the "long game", anticipating Cameron in coalition will require to go back to the country. Johnson, Milliband, Burnham, Balls ...? Take your pick.
Thankfully this all plays into the hands of the SNP and eventual independence for Scotland. This is our only salvation ... resuming control and taking charge of our own destiny. Vote SNP ... to be sure, to be sure.

The difference between the facebook campaign pages of DJ Macsween

"This is the Facebook page for the Western Isles Labour Party. Its aim is to facilitate discussion and relay information in our battle to oust the Nationalists from our seat.

Closed: Limited public content. Members can see all content.
"

and

Angus B. Macneil

"Angus Brendan MacNeil MP for re-election to represent the Na h-Eileanan an lar constituency in Westminster

Open: All content is public.
"

is quite marked, don't you think?

Are the Labourites so scared of anyone that may disagree with their policies (such as exist of them) that they're unable to hold a truly open forum, even on facebook? Very democratic, Dee Chay! A sign of things to come, eh?

There are so many unsavoury facts associated with the rotten NuLabour government - from the regular stream of coffins still coming back from Blair's war to the disgraceful behaviour of our former 'representatives' during the Lewis wind farm fiasco - that I'm not surprised they vet their prospective facebook group members.

If I apply to join, will I need an ID card?

Our seat. Unbelievable.
