The Council face the facts
It is good that the Council have faced up to the severity of the cuts they are facing, after burying their heads in the sand last year and hoping for the best.
It is not good news that these cuts have to be made, but it is good news that they have faced up to the facts.
I note, with a wry smile, that public meetings and consultations are on the agenda for the first time ever. Just as I suggested to inform the voters.

Sorry to break thread but i've just heard that Back FC V Westside, Eilean an Fhraoich cup final this Friday is under threat as Back have heard there is a Coffee Morning in Martins Memorial Hall.
Public meetings and consultations may be on the agenda but I sincerely doubt any attention will be paid to opinions and suggestions expressed at same when it comes to making the actual decisions.
Will Back FC remain consistant and refuse to play at Goathill Park on the grounds that there is no car parking facility there
