Photo opportunities

A series of photo opportunities being arranged by Labour politicians through the islands.....

LibDem politicians contacting community groups.....

Is there the prospect of an election on the near horizon? Certainly some of those who have been contacted seem to think so.

Will Gordon Brown cut and run? Only if things are going to get much worse next year.....

Labour politicians are going to need considerably more than the odd photo opportunity to get back in here in the islands.

Still, maybe a recycled local 'scandal' from years back repackaged as a fresh controversy in, let's say, the Sunday Mail might get them a shaky cross or two on the ballot papers.

Just don't mention the war...

Alex's bank now the Peoples bank of Britain - no chance of going it alone in Scotland
Give away budget in March
Big orders to industry in Labour seats in April
Troops Home in Spring
Brown tries his luck in May
Even money bet I think

Lets hope that if the Labour muckrakers start dishing the dirt, they are sure that their own candidate is squeaky clean.
There are rumours!!!!!!!

Photos? Of DJ Macsween? But surely if you don't have a reflection no one can take your picture . . .

Anon 12.03 PM and 2.03PM. What dirt? If you are taking this up again about our MP and his frolics in Orkney with two seventeen year old girls and his private piper, then on your heads be it.

It looks like you want to start this muckraking again.

i heard a labour polititian deny that there was an election planned for this year... so that settles it... there must be one in the offing!

Heard a rumour about an indepenent candidate at the General Election. Want to confirm or deny, Angus?

If you think that there will be a general election in May - or at any time in 2009 - then note that William Hill are giving odds of 100/30 on this.

In other words, bet 30 pounds, and if GB goes to the polls before January 1st next year then you get 130 pounds back.
