Employment vacancy

We have a vacancy for an International Tax Accountant to assist us primarily with the preparation and control of foreign tax returns and payroll processing, along with many other activities.

The full details of the vacancy are on our website, and applicants will want to look at and for an appreciation of what we are doing.

This is an exciting and rapidly growing aspect of our business, and we are seeking an appointee who can meet our needs.

You must be joking no one in this world is capable of understanding both these tax regimes, not even you!

I am a joint business partner in Nicolson Accountancy and I can verify that we do specialise in these two tax regimes along with several others. We are certainly not "joking" that we require additional assistance in this area to help us with one of the biggest growth areas of our business otherwise we wouldn't have posted the job advert.

Never under-estimate the skills there are in the islands.

We run Norwegian and Dutch language software.

We run weekly Norwegian payrolls for clients; next week I will run Dutch payrolls for large US corporations; one member of staff already works 75% of their time on Norwegian accounting; Sue and I have over 200 Norwegian tax clients (mostly Sue).

With the right member of staff, we could easily double the foreign tax business we have.

And it is all a very long story.....

And if you believe that, you'll fall for anything!

Looks like the green eyed monster is well and truly alive and kicking Angus. Good on you for bringing such expertise and quality jobs to the Islands. It's a shame that others don't follow your lead.

Hope you used the correct ISO setting when installing your SQL server Angus, you'll need it for all those funny little norgie accent characters like ø and å
