I was tempted to write "If you work in the Comhairle and can't read this, then please let me know", but sanity prevailed.
A Council employee reports that they can't access the blog through their Comhairle issue computer.
It sounds like the whitelist has not been updated for the individual or their overall permissions are incorrectly set, but I just want to check that I'm not inadvertently being blacklisted......

Could be worse. In Carmarthenshire, try and film an open council meeting and you'll get arrested.
Carmarthenshire. Rural, periphery, local language, ambiguous to incomers, nepotistic local governance, sea-oriented, heavily reliant on grant subsidies. Hmmm...
Yup, had a blether with a local councilor regarding the goings on down in Uist. He assumed that his inability to access this site may have only been a temporary glitch, but is now aware that the directive for Comhairle employees not to have a peep at Incredulous Eye has been followed up by the access of the council issue computer being restricted.
Percival Square?... perhaps Tianamen Square would be better.
Quite bloody right too. The productivity is low enough without them reading this drivel.

I hope if they are blocking sites like this they are also blocking several others i.e. facebook, hotmail, ebay, etc... i am shocked when my friends who work for the council brag about how much time they spend online & there is no one who checks up on them. Shockingly bad management throughout.
