Racism

Unemployable ex-public school boy insults foreigners shock.

I though it was a compulsory subject at Eton.

Personally I blame the family. His father has never worked, and his mother had mental health issues around her body image. A clearly dysfunctional family, how they kept the Social Services at bay is anyone's guess.

They lived with the grandparents, in a situation where granddad has previously and repeatedly expressed racist views, whilst expecting the state to look after him since he quit his last job in 1951.

Hardly surprising that he is deserving of an ASBO?

Good post, but lets face it that it is a very small storm in a very old teacup, three years old and people change.

What about our own Andy Murray for example, who three years ago was an appalling racist little @&*% to put it mildly. Now he's a bit older, wiser, mellower and appears to realise that supporters south of the border are not so bad after all (at least in public). Also he's doing well so all is forgiven.

Harry meanwhile, who seems to be doing his best to lead as normal a life as he can, and against all odds, gets hammered because he's a royal.

Well if racism was grounds for loosing your jobs then there'd be quite a few more on the dole queue in Stornoway.

More important things are going on in the world than the clumsy comments of a high spirited youth. Personally I'm much more concerned about Gazza.

There is to be an inquiry, more apologies, public flogging, commons debate, and so on, just so the holier than thows can jump on the bandwaggon. And waste more tax payers money to boot. Let he who is without sin chuck the first stone.

Can't we talk about lack of space in Tesco's car park instead?

I was desperately saddened when this story was the lead on the BBC news for most of the weekend.

Where has social responsibility gone when the doings of a minor oik are rated as being more important than what is going on in Africa, and the Middle East, never mind the disintegration of society in the UK.

Who actually cares - apart from the drain on the public purse - what that bunch of inbred wasters get up to.

Anyone going over the border to Ingerland should take a fine chunk of Clisham rock with them and leave it on the wall, it will probably be rebuilt 'on time and within budget'
......haud oan, is that the DSO we are talking about?

The sooner the revolution comes the better. Viva Che!

angus (or anyone else):

can you please tell me the difference between what Harry said and the use of the word "Aussie" - provided it was tongue-in-cheek, which I believe it was.

Harry wasn't using it as an insult.

You're jumping on the political correctness bandwagon, something i assume you've slated in the past (like everything else).

Hear, hear, I couldn't have typed it better myself (apart from the dreadful spelling mistake)

What a load of drivel, there was nothing wrong with what he said. That's the way things are in the army.

and leading on from 7.12, What if he had called Harry a Brit?

I'm sure the perpetrator of this crime was acting tongue in cheek and there was nothing wrong with what he said or did.

He was quite right. After all his Gran allows all these incomers to live in her Country.
