With the plans for the new school well advanced after years of negotiations, plans and campaigning by the local community; and with building due to start over the summer, a legal source tells me that the Council haven't actually bought the land yet...

oops! I'm sure they were just too busy hiding things from the public, not that they would, would they? On the other hand...
Not such learned men as these...surely not.
Clearly the landowner can now name his price ... + £££%age he may care to think of. OR back to plan B.

Send in Robert Mugabe to sort them out...he has his own particular way of dealing with imbeciles.
Yeah, but who pays if it all goes t**ts up? Not the Council's well-paid legal staff, you can be sure!
