The truths they don't want you to read....

Electoral visit

Just had the Tory Candidate in the office handing out leaflets - not that he is stereotyping accountants or anything.

I just missed him.

But I should be able to get the letter opener out of the brick wall later.

Three of us were sitting upstairs listening to him giving his patter to the one poor member of staff, and it was very amusing for us; if not for her.

Kudos to the guy for trying harder than most of the previous Tory candidates - was it last time that one of them set foot on the islands for the first time on Polling Day? - and better luck finding a seat elsewhere.

Any truth in the rumors that one of the larger SNP "activists" has been spoken to because of his actions, both written and verbal, and his behaviour harming the SNP cause? I think we should be told!
Appearances before the Beak are not mandatory!

Are they still keen to get behind the repairs to the pier in akmore Angus

As they have declared their intention to scrap RET, I think it will be a nil vote here.

Yes I do believe that it is true but I wouldn't want to name names in public...

Look at the hilarious website below. It is all about the adventures on ferries and stuff of two people - one is standing for the Labour Party and the other is a scruffy git with a straggly beard.
Why is the sensible one having his photo taken with that weirdo?
Kenny Leather really should know better.

4.47 - Thank you. Priceless! Who wrote that garbage?

I would hazard a guess that the bearded wonder is MacSween in disguise, and not a ferry good one. Ha..ha..
Crighton is going for the swarve, sophisticated, James Bond look for the ladies. Those of us who are advanced in years will not be impressed by this. Other than that, I can't be bothered with any of them.

A very lively hustings meeting in Carloway last night, bear trap nicely set for the Labour candidate, except it didnt quite work out that way, with Crichton defusing the schools issue, and then scoring some direct hits on ADS, RET, renewables and land reform. I think the local election will be a lot closer than predicted, and the near hysterical behaviour fron Allans few travelling supporters will not help him. Looking forward to Sy hustings now.

Dr. Evadne,
I dont think you could ever say that Dr. Allan is going for the ladies, no matter how advanced your years!!
