The Postman doesn't knock at all

Most people get one post delivery a day.

Some get a parcel delivery too.

Me? I have at least one other postman, who works the weekend night shift, posting plain brown envelopes through my letter box.

An enclosure of such importance (and delivered with impeccable timing for other events you couldn't know about) necessitates a shredding of the original document and the envelope as a further layer of protection.

Thank you my friend(s) for a document showing such a spectacular own goal, as to be almost unbelievable.

The public will just have to wait a few weeks longer to find out the size, scope and extent of the lies being told in their name.....and the associated huge waste of public money.

You tease, Angus !

What ever happened to the other revealing 'document' that was delivered to you, maybe a year or 18 months ago?

I seem to recall you saying you would let us know in a few months and you would not be standing for the bi-election.... Maybe I missed it but it sounded like something rather juicy.

You do seem to be in the habit of tantalising your avid readers and then coming up later on with...well, f*ck all.

A prophet knows no honour in his own Country.
However his chances are much improved if he discloses the imminent news PRIOR to the event, otherwise he loses credibility and finishes up with a degree in hindsight

ah, so SNP are now trying to tempt you to break your confidentiality (not to mention honour) Well i say good luck to them!

you have let us know about thing in advance often enough now. If they think this'll work more fool them!

Can the Cooncil sink lower and survive? Heb News Headline "Council -V- Council" just about sums it up.
Infighting, back stabbing, division are its hallmarks. Headless, Leaderless, Directionless and Useless. The pidgeons are coming home to roost.
"Remember me at the next Election"

You may well be right but as long as people don't stand, the old guard will be relected (again). As long as people vote on the basis of who goes to which church rather than the more important points such as who can do the best job thnen we will again be lumbered with the current crop of miscreants, misfits and ne'er do wells. God help us all.

An apt summing up of Nu Labour, surely?

Re - 9.45

Actually more like the Western Isles branch of the SNP.

A part of the world where the comma splice rules and the 'moral' of the troops plunges because of its illiterate press releases.

Especially in its mispelling of 'pigeons' and its use of unnecessary capitals.

This party political bitching isn't really very entertaining.

Moving swiftly onto something else then...................

Seems post office profits are set to fall as the Police close up the alleged Ebay outlet at Marybank.

A quick peak on ebay revealed an alleged seller from South Lochs having sold over 200 items in the past year. Size 8,9,10 Gents Caterpillar boots currently on sale from South Lochs area. All sorts of goods found their way onto Ebay.

This has a serious side however as the COU is in the midst of difficult times.

The fact this was allegedly occurring does highlight serious deficiences in internal purchasing and accounting practices, with a combined lack of supervision and management- presumably.

I was about to order my supply of boots and jackets with the COU logo for my staff when stocks ran out can anybody else over there supply something simalier maybe with tech service logo will do if you have any a couple of yellow vans to, the management won't miss them there are so many of them driving around the area !!!

Just a shame Angus won't write more about the disgraceful thefts that have been taking place at Marybank. Could it be because the culprit is a good friend of his who often leaks him any council info?

Don't we live in a country where you are innocent until proven guilty?

It would appear that given information provided to the police a large number of COU employees have been seen emptying their barns and sheds off piers across Lewis. (Or will be now if you want to go and watch)

Some senior COU Mnagers are shaking at the thought of what dirt their fellow manager might be providing on their various covert activities whilst 'at work'

What fascinates me as much as anything is that the Heb News article implies that the COU were using 'hand crafted American paintbrushes'. Is this indicative of other Council purchases ?
