Alasdair Morrison

Congratulations to Alasdair Morrison on becoming a director of Uist Builders.

My understanding is that he is now the Director of Sustainable Development, whatever that actually entails. No doubt we will find out soon enough.

Thats 2 jobs he has created in 1 week, both for himself.

With his contacts in the Labour Party, that will help Uist Builders get some of the contract work for the Outer Hebrides nuclear waste facility, when it - inevitably - comes.

The Crazy Nats are really going well. They just cannot stand that Almo is creating jobs while not involved in politics, and dumb and dumber not able to name one job they have created.

Well done Alasdair good to see the biggest private employer in the Western Isles showing you recognition for the work you carried out while our MSP.

I cannot imagine any major business chasing ABM or AA when they are ousted offering directorships.

To gain these directorships you have to show that you are working for the Islands and not preventing work coming to the Islands.

Well done Alasdair.

Thanks to Alasdair Allan UBC now have a Director of Sustainable Dev.

Its not unusual for UBC to find posts for people they think will help them make more money. All firms do it. Look at AMEC hiring Mr Wilson. It just shows though when we think of Brian (the small time newspaperman) getting a big job with a multinational just how small and useless almo is!!

Oh the Crazy Nats are really hurting. They just cannot take it.

Oh that was a really good press release from AA and ABM congratulating the Directors and workers of the Shawbost Mill. Oh was that a pig that flew past there.

I'm glad that AlMo is working his way back. As the most complex thing he's had to do since his humiliation last May is ask "Do you want fries with that?", this will widen his range of skills. Is there no beginning to his talents...

Do you think this means a contract for renewable contracts will be awarded to a long standing island company with it's own take on transparency over the years!! Me thinks.............?
